This was my detailed plan for Lizi's wedding morning - it was distributed by Lizi to all concerned a few weeks before. It worked really well, the veil did indeed go on at 10.30 but it took less than 5 minutes, consequently it was a very relaxed morning.  I played Melody Gardot's latest album which Lizi coincidentally knew and liked very much.   There was plenty of time for photos, gifts and the occasional visitor and the bride was 5 minutes early to the church.

Thank you Lizi for choosing me .... it was a lot of fun and such a pleasure to work with you all.

A Royal Wedding

Picture opposite: After doing Sophie's make-up on "Red Dwarf", she asked me to do her make-up for the occasion of her marriage to Lord Frederick Windsor at Hampton Court Palace.  This cover is reproduced with kind permission of "Hello" magazine.

To be available for film and TV contracts, I cannot commit months in advance to bridal make-up.  However, I am available at short notice, (from 4 weeks to 24 hours in advance) for weddings, special occasion, event make-up/hair should you find yourself, your party or event suddenly in need of a 'look'.  I do bridal, themed parties (including 18th century with powdered wigs), Halloween and Horror, Prom night or just a special occasion for which you'd like that extra screen sparkle or red carpet glam.  

If your bridal make-up and hair artist is suddenly unable to fulfil the booking, no worries, just give me a call and we can talk it through.  Very often we put looks together on the day for films, so if you find yourself unexpectedly in a 'fix' don't worry - let's get cracking.     

Services

Bridal make-up and hair, just make-up or just hair for the Bride and Mother of the Bride.  To prepare more than a couple of people would probably require an additional person.  

If make-up only is required then I could do the Bride, the Mother of the Bride and two Bridesmaids - in reverse order.

Expertise

Authentic or stylised period and vintage themes are my speciality.  20's/30's waves authentic or stylised with a modern twist, 50's 60's. 70's, 80's, 17th century, 18th century powdered wigs, Gibson girl, and if you are feeling really adventurous and enough time and preparation is allowed - coloured or powdered caged wigs (the very elaborate wigs worn in the 18th C) are available.

Time permitting, if required I can travel long-distance by car in the UK. Travel abroad to european destinations is possible subject to tickets, and accommodation being booked and confirmed in advance by the client.
