Ageing on black & white skin

"The Orchid House"

This production required the adults in the cast to age 20 or so years. This included ageing on black as well as white skin. As the ageing required for this production spanned only 20 years or so, we were able to get the ageing required with the "brush and stick" method, e.g painting it onto the skin without the use of prosthetics or latex, and hairdressing devices of altering hairlines and hair colour.

"Stanley and Livingstone"

Livingstone (Nigel Hawthorne) needed to be "youthened" by 15-20 years for a flashback shot in London. For this I put a rinse on his hair and contained the dressing of it a little more and darkened his brows and tash. A few other touches created the look required.
