I am unashamedly proud of my heritage, of my mother's achievements and would like to honour her work here in a manner that was unthinkable at the time she was working. She was the first woman to be trained in Make-up at Shepperton Studios where my uncle, Harold Fletcher ran the make-up department after WW2. She did extraordinary work on "The Tales of Hoffman" and the original version of "Moulin Rouge" as Chief Make-up Artist.
